Staying hydrated when working out, especially if you are working out outdoors, is important. Perspiration is our body’s natural way of releasing heat and cooling down. Unfortunately, our body loses important electrolytes such as sodium as it sweats. The sweat released while biking or running must thus be replaced with water.
Water, particularly cold water, is needed by our body to cools down after an exercise or even during exercise. Cold water can quench your thirst and cool your body. Bringing water is made easier with hydration packs. They are lightweight and can be carried on the back so movement during exercise is not compromised. These packs keep the water cold, too.
