The Best Tent
My friends and I are planning to go camping soon. We have not figured out exactly where or when but hopefully soon. We made pooled our money together to buy ourselves a big enough tent that would fit all four of us, our gear and our air mattresses. We asked for advice from our local store on which brand or kind of tent to buy. Buying a tent is apparently not that simple.
For buying any kind of equipment for camping, number one thing you should know is where you will go. Which we didn’t. The clerk said that tents should be appropriated to the weather conditions of our camp location. For instance, specialized tents are manufactured for certain weather conditions like cold and windy in which foam fillers are placed in the tent’s material for added insulation. Another example, for hot or tropical climates, using tents with flaps or windows are of grave importance to prevent heat stroke. After listening to the clerk’s tips, we left the store with at least an answer to our question. Whichever location we choose to camp at, a Chinook tent is the best one that will provide our needs.
