My son and his classmates acted in a school play about cowboys and Indians. We parents were very enthusiastic in pitching our creative ideas to make the show the best it can be. Several moms volunteered to sew costumes. One mom and I worked together for a couple of days to turn a plain kids play tent into a teepee.

On the night of the presentation, even I was amazed at what we all have worked hard for. With those stage lights on, the scene on stage looked professionally designed! I am happy to say that after all grade levels were able to present their plays, my son’s 5th grade class got the most applause from the audience during the encore.

The thing about standard flashlights and lanterns is that they are usually susceptible to bulb failure. If you are going camping, you want a light source that is reliable and sturdy. LED lanterns are a good alternative. You can use these in any kind of emergency situation. An example would be extreme weather during a camping trip, where good lighting is very important.

LED lanterns are better than the traditional flashlight because it does not have a filament or glass casing. You don’t have to worry about the filament burning out or the glass breaking, thus losing your light source at the worst possible time. These also give off a brighter light due to the multiple LED’s in a single lantern. Brightness can also be controlled in LED lanterns, which can be very useful if you want to conserve energy.
