Short Trips
Whenever I have the free time, I always make it a point to come home and visit my parents. My younger brother is off in college, leaving only my parents in our home. Since I have been assigned in the city, I have decided to get a place of my own and be much closer to where I work. During the weekends though, I would usually try and visit them if my schedule permits me.
During those instances when I would get to visit my parents, my dad would always invite me to get to the water on an inflatable catamaran early in the morning. This is something I have always enjoyed, especially since the atmosphere is way too different from the fast-paced life in the city I have now been accustomed to. Something about the environment out in the water gives me peace, and allows me to let out all the negative vibrations and emotions I have to be swept away by the gentle breeze of the air.
