One of the Lucky Few

I am a travel blogger sent in all-expense paid trips to different locations at least twice a month to write about my experience online in order to promote, advertise, and improve on local tourism. Mostly, we go to locations like resorts, camping sites, beaches/lakes, and mountainsides that offer or provide recreational outdoor activities and stay there for a day or two. My colleague takes the necessary photos of the area while I make notes on my little notebook about the natural setting, quality of food and services (if provided), adequate amenities (if any), various recreational activities, and, most importantly, points of consideration for improvement.

We are supplied with all necessary equipment like tents, safety gears, and foldable stove. Although the work is risky and takes a lot of time from family, it has always been my dream and passion to travel the country and get paid well for it. I am one of the lucky few who truly found their niche in the professional world.

Some stoves are specially designed for outdoor use. They come in all kinds from single burner lightweight backpacking stoves to deluxe triple burner cooker package and everything else in between. They are great for camping, tailgating and backyard barbecues at home. You will have lots of choices in design as well as fuel source. Make your choice depending on your needs.

Campers will naturally choose lightweight designs that can be lugged around in the backpack or will not occupy too much space in the trunk of the car. Optimus stoves are famous for this purpose. The Optimus Nova will burn any fuel and simmer at any altitude. It features folding legs that can accommodate small as well as big pots. There are other models that you can choose from. In all instances they are compact, will burn different kinds of fuel and will work in unthinkable conditions.
